Universal Studios!

A couple weeks ago my high school choir and band took a trip down to DISNEYLAND!!! I was so excited and it was the topic of much of our conversation for a long time leading up to the trip! The day we left we came to the school early early in the morning yet everyone was happy and wide awake! Our bus ride was LONG but luckily I got the best seat mate ever... one of my best friends Alison! She is so crazy and we had a blast!
Our first stop was Universal Studios!

There are only like four rides in Universal but they are fun! We went on the Mummy and Jurassic Park multiple times! The coolest ride in the whole park is the backstage tour! They take you on a tram ride of all of the movie and tv sets where they film! I got to see where they filmed Big Fat Liar, The Three Amigos, Jaws, The Grinch, ect, and they even took us down Wisteria Lane (from Desperate Housewives) Let me tell you it was amazing to see! I never realized how much detail goes into each piece of scenery! After the tour we ran around taking pictures of all of the fun characters they have in the park.

The Apollo 13 Crew!

Frankinstien! He was a definite creeper! He kept rubbing my hair!

The hulk! I think I give him a pretty good run for his money as far a muscles go!

We then left the park and went to our hotel! I shared a room with my friends Alison, Natalie, and Bianca! We had so much fun in the hotel with no parents, no rules, and no bedtime! (Not that we did anything bad we just had a blast and stayed up really late!) We talked so much and it was amazing getting to know each other even better! The next day started EARLY! We had a Disney Workshop... but that will have to wait for next time!

Pie Crazies and Kate's Baptism

I have not had time to blog in forever so I have a ton to catch up on! First things first, our ward is getting ready to go to Girls Camp and so we decided to have a pie fundraiser! It was pretty ambitious to try to make 97 pies in four hours but we got it done! We made apple, cherry, and chocolate! At our house we made cherry pie...and more cherry pie...and more cherry pie! It was a ton of pie and it was hard work but we had so much fun! We talked and laughed the entire time!

And then later that day.... one of my cutest friends, Kate, got baptised!!! She is so sweet and I am so proud of her! Craig and I also sang " I heard him come" at her baptism. It was such a great experience!

Happy Birthday Craig!

Yesterday was Craigs 18th birthday! We started off the day with a birthday buffet featuring all of Craigs favorite things to eat for breakfast including sausage, pop tarts, and cocoa puffs! Then the day got a little crazy and we all split our different ways with basketball games and babysitting, ect. About six a bunch of his friends came over and we ate dinner. He loves chinese food so we ordered a huge meal from Panda Express and had a chinese party. We lowered the tables and sat on the floor, ate with chopsticks, had the little chinese lamps... the whole shabang! The food was so good but it took FOREVER too eat our rice with chopsticks everyone was laughing pretty hard!

After dinner we played the funniest games. The first one was the lap game. It is where someone says something like If your wearing earrings move to the left. So everyone wearing earrings has to move and sit on the lap of the person next to them! It got kinda awkward but it was very fun! After that we played the craziest game ever called "I Bet". There are two teams and each team takes turns picking something out of a jar and betting the other team that they wont do it. It was sooo fun! Here are just of few of the craziest ones:

Nicole got bet that she couldn't eat five donuts in one minute without using her hands (in wheelbarrow position)

CJ got bet that he could not do a head stand while singing his favorite country song for 2 minutes.

Last but not least I got bet that I wouldn't give Josh a lotioned foot massage for 2 minutes! It was so gross and everyone was laughing soooo hard!

After the games we went outside and had a girls vs. guys bball game/dunk contest. It was crazy and of course the girls dominated. Ok so not really but it was fun! Then we had a delicious ice cream cake made by my mom!

Then we decided it was Craigs 18th birthday so we were going to go do something stupid and really fun! We went to Walmart and bought a ton of sticky notes (mind you its like 10:15 and Ceres is creepy past 7:00) and ran around town sticky noting our friends cars(you try to cover the car in sticky notes)! It sounds kinda stupid I know but it is like the best thing ever! One car we totally covered but at the other house we totally almost got caught and it was so crazy! It was such a fun night and a much needed break after a LONG week at school!!! Happy Birthday Craig!

Iceblocking Adventure

So even though this happened during the summer it was the greatest mutual activity ever! Who doesn't love sliding down a hill on a tiny block of ice! Everyone was so happy and I laughed so hard I almost cried! We were having so much fun we couldn't even feel the pain of falling flat on our bums!
